So by this point you shouldn't really need any introduction to Slade, but due to their lack of popularity in the US in the 70s, it still might need to be rubbed in your face. In this incredible and uncut TV appearance in 1972, Slade are at the height of their powers, bursting forth with incredible bravado and toe-curling aggression, and since this is NOT a lip-synched performance, you get to see one of the Glam era's top forces of nature, blow the roof right off the joint.
The relatively small studio audience must have their heads knocked clean off during this performance, as Slade come down like a jackhammer, delivering pounding after pounding.
