If your ear wasn’t already glued to the ground of the current Australian global invasion, here’s yet another sizzling release from down under. MISS DESTINY are made up of Harriet Hudson (Southern Comfort/Circle Pit), Harriet Stewart, and Annie Llewellyn and are a blonde rock outfit, which pays tribute to the flashier groups of the past century. Prep yourself for shocking horror/glam crime tales across the two tracks on the Destiny debut; “House of Wax”, which is quite literally about the movie house of wax (the Paris Hilton version, STREAM track below) and “The One”, which is about Dolce & Gabbana getting arrested. Expect razored vocals and a broken down rock sound under a glamorous veil.
And if that wasn’t enough to pique your interest, they are now officially on US soil and set to glamorize the land with their soiled rock punkisms. With their debut LP just landing on RIP Society last week, it's time to run to your nearest box office and camp out all night if you have to, because it's bound to be like the Runaways without the Fowley and all that jazz, and you just can't miss that. So be sure to come out when they hit your town and get ready to be rocked face first, 'cuz these gals are here to lay waste to anything in their path.
