Yes, you read that right, somehow our good friends at Revolution Brewing have hooked up an impossible event taking place Thursday May 14th at the 25th Floor VIP Lounge at the newly opened Virgin Hotel Chicago, featuring two blistering Chicago punk bands intent on racking up your room service charges. The Sueves have their debut 7" out this month on HoZac and will be closing out an early night (this event ends at 9PM!) so you can get that much needed rest for the impending doom of the rest of HoZac Blackout Fest Weekend, but starting out the night in this bizarre and other-worldly setting are revved-up punk smashers The Flesh Panthers to kick off the show starting at 6PM, along side some unsettling DJ emissions from the HoZac Sadistic Sound System.
Revolution Brewing will be slinging discounted $4 cans of suds for the duration as well as the on-site Empty Bottle ticket machine spurting out fee-FREE Blackout Fest tickets to those desperate souls still lingering in the shadows without their inevitable plans laid out for the rest of the weekend, so if you still haven't got your tickets yet, this might be the best way to shave off a few bucks as well as get to see the raw bleeding edge of punk clash with the ritzy-titziness of a VIP hotel lounge on Wabash Avenue while the sun is still shining. So if you're in the downtown area from 6PM-9PM be sure to stop on by and experience this incredible kickoff party before this weekend gets the best of your sanity!
