Part 4 of my promised photo blast from the past in anticipation of the upcoming Hozac Blackout Fest.
After 3 successful Blackouts us Horizontal Action doods were finally allowed to have our lil' drinking contest moved to the venue that had originally denied it. Quite certain I've heard rumors of record breaking beers sales, and no rest for the waitstaff what so ever. Many a non-Chicago folk has asked me "what was the name of that place, the Broken Bottle?" Certainly might as well have been that weekend or any of the next two Blackouts for that matter. Reatards, Real Losers, Clorox Girls, Testors, Zodiac Killers, Catholic Boys, Lids and on and on. It's amazing I managed to get any good photos at all when seeing some of my favorite bands. Both body and brain drenched in beer and insanity. Throwing up the camera pushing the shutter release and capturing shit I barely remember. Just re-watched the 2003 video and saw myself doing at least 3 stage dives! No wonder I only had like 10 shots of the Spits. Not sure if I did any stage diving at this one but did manage to get some decent shots. Here's a few.
